DEKA PRISMA
Sell your used DEKA PRISMA.
PRISMA is a DEKA facial system that combines intense pulsed light with radiofrequency and electrical muscle stimulation in one console. Cartessa Aesthetics, its exclusive US distributor, says it was first introduced in the United States in the fall of 2024 and launched it in Canada on June 23, 2026. Cartessa describes it as the first IPL device in its portfolio and notes that it uses no consumables.
DEKA's international page lists four handpieces. Ambra is a 600 nm IPL head with a xenon lamp and sapphire cooling, Sol covers 550 to 1200 nm, and Verde uses a dual band filter passing 500 to 670 nm and 870 to 1200 nm. Azur combines radiofrequency and muscle stimulation for the face and comes with large and small interchangeable tips. DEKA notes that IPL cooling is adjustable.
US paperwork uses a different name. AccessGUDID lists PRISMA as model M135A1 and ties it to two FDA clearances issued as DEKA LOTUS: K233473 in May 2024 and K250281 in February 2025. Those filings describe two pulsed light handpieces with cooled waveguides and linear xenon flashlamps, plus a bipolar RF handpiece at 1 MHz cleared for mild to moderate facial wrinkles. The 500G handpiece, at 500 to 670 and 870 to 1200 nm, reaches up to 80 J/cm2 on a 17 by 20 mm spot. The 2025 change replaced the 590 nm hair removal filter head with a 570 nm head cleared for vascular and pigmented lesions, so the filter marked on the second IPL head shows which version a unit carries. Note also that DEKA's Luxea platform has an unrelated Q-switched handpiece called Prisma.
List every handpiece by name and filter, and both Azur tips. Buyers will ask about flashlamp condition, cracks or chips in the light guides and sapphire, and the cooling performance of each head. Provide the service history and software version, and photograph the serial label showing M135A1, the home screen and every handpiece label.
