DEKA Onda PRO

Onda PRO is DEKA's microwave body treatment system, using 2.45 GHz energy that DEKA brands Coolwaves. It is not a laser. DEKA launched it at the World Congress of Dermatology in Singapore in July 2023 as part of its PRO line, and Cartessa Aesthetics announced it for the United States and Canada on April 29, 2026. Cartessa states that the original Onda platform was introduced in 2018.

The system has three handpieces. DEKA positions Deep for localized fat over large areas, Shallow for cellulite, skin tightening and localized fat, and Pocket, the new addition, for lifting, firming and submental work. In US records Onda PRO links to two clearances. K211091, the DEKA TIAC II from October 2021, covers a 200 W bipolar device at 2.45 GHz with RF heating for temporary relief of pain and muscle spasm and increased local circulation, plus massage handpieces for temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite. K260647, cleared as SPECCHIO on April 2, 2026, describes the PRO changes: a restyled chassis and interface, re-engineered Shallow and Deep handpieces with interchangeable massage heads, and the added Pocket PRO handpiece. AccessGUDID lists ONDA PRO as model M116V1.

The Pocket handpiece is the simplest way to tell an Onda PRO from an original Onda, which has only Deep and Shallow. Handpiece size helps too: the 2026 filing lists Deep PRO at 66 mm, Shallow PRO at 56 mm and Pocket PRO at 36.5 mm, against 78 mm and 68 mm for the earlier Deep and Shallow. DEKA also sells an Onda Plus as a separate model, so read the label rather than relying on the cabinet's appearance.

A buyer will want all three handpieces, their cables and the massage heads, and will ask whether each handpiece's surface cooling works. Note any cracks in housings or contact surfaces. Have the service history and software version available, and photograph the serial label showing M116V1, the touch screen and each handpiece label.
