See what it's worth

PHYSIQ 360 is a DEKA body contouring system that combines a 1060 nm diode laser with electrical muscle stimulation. The FDA cleared the DEKA PHYSIQ 360 under K231971 on September 26, 2023, for noninvasive lipolysis of the abdomen, flanks, back and thighs in people with a body mass index of 30 or less, using the Cynosure SculpSure as predicate. Cartessa Aesthetics launched it in the United States on April 25, 2024, as the next generation of the original PHYSIQ.

The laser runs in continuous wave through up to four applicators, each with a 4 by 6 cm treatment area and a power density of up to 1.4 W per cm2, held in place by belts. DEKA lists four emission modes: LZR for laser alone, EMS for muscle stimulation alone, STEP, which alternates the two in sequence, and BOOST, which delivers them together. Each applicator is controlled independently and has built in cooling, and Cartessa notes a patient control button. A separate PLUS handpiece uses air flow and six internal LEDs for a post treatment massage. The cleared supply is 115 to 230 V single phase at up to 1200 VA.

Sellers often confuse it with the original PHYSIQ, so the model number on the label matters. AccessGUDID lists the DEKA PHYSIQ 360 as model M134A1 and its EMS module separately as F53701. A related DEKA device, the SIMON, model M134B1, was cleared in 2023 as an EMS only system with four applicators and the original PHYSIQ as its predicate, so check the label rather than the applicator count.

List all four applicators with their cables and belts, plus the PLUS handpiece and patient control button. Buyers will look at the applicator contact and cooling surfaces and ask for the service history and software version. Photograph the serial label showing M134A1, the touch screen and each applicator.
