Candela Vbeam Pro
Sell your used Candela Vbeam Pro.
Candela introduced the Vbeam Pro at the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery meeting in Orlando, with a press release dated April 24, 2025. It is the newest system in the Vbeam pulsed dye laser line and combines a 595 nm pulsed dye laser with a 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength. Candela states that the platform is FDA cleared for pediatric patients, and its launch material lists uses including rosacea, port wine stains, acne, leg and spider veins, scars, benign pigmented lesions, wrinkles, warts, stretch marks and photoaging across Fitzpatrick skin types I through VI.
Treatment is delivered through a Zoom handpiece whose wheel adjusts the spot from 3 mm to 15 mm, with five distance gauges. Candela specifies 12 J at 595 nm in the 15 mm spot. Cooling can be set before and after each pulse, a guided mode stores up to 18 custom treatment settings, and the delivery system reaches more than 13 feet with a supported fiber.
Because the Vbeam Prima, launched in 2018, also offers 595 nm and 1064 nm and also reaches 15 mm, the two are easy to mix up in a listing. The model name printed on the serial label and shown at startup settles it, and any genuine Vbeam Pro was built in 2025 or later. The older Vbeam Perfecta is a different system: it fires only 595 nm, its largest spot is 12 mm, and it uses fixed spot sizes rather than a zoom wheel.
Dye is the consumable to document. Candela warrants the Vbeam Pro dye for 75,000 pulses or 1,000 operating hours, so a buyer will want the pulse count and hours logged since the last dye change. Because these systems are so new, also state whether a factory warranty or service agreement is still in force and whether Candela will transfer it. Include photos of the serial label, the handpiece with its gauges, and the counter screen.
