Candela Glace

Candela's Glacē is a professional facial system, not a radiofrequency or laser device. It pairs hydrodermabrasion with serum infusion, a two-mode cupping massage and an LED finishing step. Candela introduced it at the American Academy of Dermatology meeting in March 2025 and presented its European launch at IMCAS Paris in January 2026. Candela states the treatment is not indicated for dermatological or medical conditions. Its online store lists the system as FDA Class I exempt and CE marked.

The starter system on Candela's store comes with one hydrodermabrasion handpiece, two cupping handpieces that work both sides of the face at the same time, and boxes of hydrodermabrasion tips in blunt, fine, medium and coarse grades. Candela describes the tips as single use with integrated diamond abrasion. Serums come in a two-phase scheme, one phase for cleansing and extraction and the other for infusion. The package also lists an FDA-cleared LED panel, and promotional bundles added a pair of skin renewal wands. The console has a 5.7 inch color touch screen and sits on a separate cart.

With no light or RF source in the console, Glacē sits apart from Candela's laser and radiofrequency platforms, though Candela promotes it alongside them. Identifying a unit is mostly a matter of matching the parts: the console, the single hydrodermabrasion handpiece, the two cupping handpieces, and, if included, the LED panel.

A Glacē sale depends heavily on what ships with it. Tips are single use and serums are used up each session, so list the unopened tip boxes by grade, the serum count and the expiration dates. State whether the LED panel and wands are included, since those were listed as separate bundle items. Candela's standard warranty runs 365 days from installation, so the installation date matters to a buyer. Photograph the console label, the screen and each handpiece.
