Lutronic LaseMD
Sell your used Lutronic LaseMD.

The LaseMD is a 1927 nm thulium laser from Lutronic for non-ablative fractional treatment of the skin surface. FDA cleared the LASEMD Laser System under K171009 on June 23, 2017, with Solta's Fraxel DUAL as the predicate, and Lutronic announced the system in February 2018. The cleared indications are dermatological procedures requiring coagulation of soft tissue, treatment of actinic keratosis and treatment of benign pigmented lesions such as lentigos, solar lentigos and ephelides.
According to the 2017 summary, the laser fires a pulsed beam through an optical fiber to a handpiece, triggered by a footswitch and controlled from a touch screen. It lists a 5 W maximum output, pulse energy up to 20 mJ, pulse widths up to 20 ms, repetition rates from 43.5 to 307.7 Hz and spot sizes from 100 to 200 micrometers, with a treatment tip measuring 4 by 10 mm. FDA's device database carries the US console as LASEMD 5W body 110V.
The original LaseMD is easy to confuse with its successor, the LaseMD Ultra, which Lutronic introduced in December 2019. A later FDA summary for a 20 W Lutronic thulium system, the LaseMD LEO, records the original LaseMD tips as Cap 100 and Cap200, at 100 and 200 micrometers. The Ultra was announced at 20 W with a larger spot and a top hat beam profile, and its accessory listings in FDA's database use square, comb, roller and C5 tip names. If your console is labeled 5W, or your tips carry the Cap names, you have the original.
A buyer will want to know how many tips come with the system and whether any are sealed, how the fiber and handpiece look. Give the software version, the service history and any error codes, and include photos of the label on the back of the console that shows the model and power rating.
