Lutronic eCO2 3D
Sell your used Lutronic eCO2 3D.
The eCO2 3D is Cynosure Lutronic's current CO2 laser, emitting at 10,600 nm and built for both fractional resurfacing and conventional surgical work. FDA cleared it under K244060 on July 31, 2025, with Lutronic's earlier eCO2 Plus as the predicate. The 510(k) summary lists a 40 W continuous wave maximum with the fractional or Bella V handpiece and 30 W with the surgical handpiece. The console has a 10.1 inch touch screen, an articulated arm and a green 520 nm aiming beam. Scanning uses Lutronic's randomized Controlled Chaos Technology.
Cynosure's product page lists three interchangeable fractional spot sizes, 120, 300 and 500 micrometers, and two delivery modes, static and dynamic. For non-fractional work the clearance names the F100, F50 and Zoom handpieces and a 500 micron tip. FDA's device database includes a Static Tip 120 and a Roller Tip among the eCO2 3D accessories. Cleared uses include ablation, resurfacing and coagulation of soft tissue, wrinkles and pigmented and vascular lesions with the fractional handpieces, plus incision, excision and vaporization, including blepharoplasty and hair transplant recipient sites, with the surgical handpieces.
Three details separate it from the eCO2 Plus, which uses the same handpiece names. The 3D runs at up to 40 W where the Plus tops out at 30 W, its aiming beam is green at 520 nm rather than red at 637 nm, and its console is far taller, about 1,931 mm against roughly 1,170 mm for the Plus, according to the comparison table in the clearance.
Any eCO2 3D on the resale market is a recent machine, so buyers expect complete paperwork. Have the purchase date, the remaining factory warranty if any, the software version and every handpiece and tip listed by name and spot size. Include the counter reading and photos of the serial label, the touch screen and the end of the articulated arm.
