InMode OptimasMAX

OptimasMAX is the current generation of InMode's multi technology workstation, combining diode lasers, intense pulsed light and radiofrequency in a single console. InMode launched it in July 2024 together with the IgniteRF, and the FDA cleared the Optimas MAX System under K251632 on June 26, 2025.

The handpiece lineup in K251632 covers four kinds of energy. For hair removal there are Diolaze XL handpieces at 810 nm, 810/1064 nm and 755/810 nm, marketed as Diolaze XL MAX together with Fusion Light and Fusion Dark. InMode Australia's product page pairs the dual wavelength handpieces as Duo Light at 755/810 nm and Duo Dark at 810/1064 nm. Vasculaze 1064, sold as VasculazeMAX, handles vascular lesions. The IPL handpieces are Lumecca 515 PEAK and Lumecca 580 PEAK. Forma and Plus are non invasive RF handpieces, and the fractional RF side includes Morpheus8 and Morpheus8 DEEP, which the clearance says was previously cleared as Morpheus8 Body. InMode's materials for the platform list Morpheus8 Burst and Burst Deep modes.

Because the OptimasMAX reuses the original Optimas handpiece designs, the console is the surest way to tell them apart. The FDA summary describes a new industrial design with a different console color, a relocated touchscreen and new handpiece holders, and an operating system moved from Windows CE to Linux. The laser and IPL handpiece housings also changed from white to black. Black handpieces and a label reading Optimas MAX point to the newer system.

A buyer will want the full handpiece list with wavelengths, since a console with Diolaze XL MAX, Lumecca Peak and both Morpheus8 applicators differs greatly from one with a single hair removal handpiece. Provide pulse or shot counts from the screen, the software version, service records and notes on the water cooling system. Photograph the serial label, every handpiece and its connector, and list any unopened Morpheus8 tips with their expiry dates.
