InMode EvolveX

InMode launched EvolveX on September 1, 2021 as the successor to its Evolve body platform, and the company's annual report says the newer system replaced Evolve. Like its predecessor, it is a hands-free workstation whose applicators are belted to the body while the console runs the treatment. The annual report lists bipolar RF and EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) as its energy sources.

InMode's product page names three applicator sets on EvolveX. Tite is a set of eight RF applicators. Tone is a set of four EMS applicators. Transform, the addition that came with EvolveX, is a set of six applicators that alternate RF heating with muscle stimulation in one session. The FDA cleared the Transform applicator, filed under the name T3, on July 19, 2021 under K210877. That clearance lists 1 MHz RF at up to 75 W, against 50 W for the earlier Tite applicators, along with EMS and TENS output, and states that RF mode and EMS or TENS mode are not to be used in combination or sequentially. A second Transform clearance, K231495, followed in October 2023.

Sellers who are unsure whether they own an Evolve or an EvolveX can usually tell from the applicators. Transform belongs to EvolveX. Trim, the six piece RF and vacuum set, belongs to the original Evolve, and InMode no longer lists it for EvolveX. Check the serial label if the belts and applicators have been mixed between systems.

A buyer will count the applicators in each set first: eight Tite, four Tone and six Transform make a complete system. Missing or damaged pieces affect the offer, so note them plainly. The Tite clearance describes the treatment belts as single use, so list any spares. Dealers also ask about the software version, the service history and cable wear. Photos of the serial label, the main screen and each applicator set side by side help confirm the configuration.
