See what it's worth

Evoke is InMode's hands-free radiofrequency system for the face. Instead of a handpiece moved by the operator, it uses applicators strapped to the patient: a Cheek applicator and a Chin applicator. InMode's 2019 IPO prospectus described Evoke as a face and neck product awaiting a 510(k) decision and planned for launch in the second half of 2019. A later annual report says InMode received FDA clearance for Evoke and Evolve in 2019 and lists Evoke as a bipolar RF platform for skin rejuvenation using the Cheek and Chin hands-free applicators.

The matching FDA record is K191855, cleared in October 2019 under the trade name EmFace Device. The summary describes a hands-free console with two RF generators, an LCD touchscreen and a Start and Stop control on the screen. The Chin applicator holds three RF units and the Cheek applicator eight, and the units fire in sequence across the treatment area. RF output runs at 1 MHz with power adjustable from 10 to 50 W, and the maximum skin temperature cutoff can be set from 35 °C up to 43 °C. Each applicator has its own cable and is held on with an adjustable belt set.

The system most often mixed up with Evoke is Define, InMode's newer face workstation, introduced in 2023. InMode's annual report groups the two as Evoke/Define for hands-free face contouring, and the old Evoke page on InMode's website now forwards to the Define page. If your system came with only the two hands-free applicators and their belts, the serial label will tell you whether it is an Evoke.

Before listing, check that everything needed to run treatments is present: both applicators, every belt set, the applicator cables and the power cord. Report any damaged RF units on an applicator, the software version, any error codes and the service history. Photos of the serial label, the touchscreen and both applicators let a dealer confirm the configuration and price the unit.
