EmpowerRF is InMode's workstation for women's health procedures. InMode announced it in a press release dated August 17, 2021, and the company's annual report gives its energy sources as bipolar radiofrequency and EMS, or electrical muscle stimulation. The console runs internal, external and hands-free applicators, so two EmpowerRF systems can be configured quite differently.
The annual report names four core items for the platform: FormaV, Morpheus8V, VTone and Aviva. FormaV applies temperature controlled RF heat to vaginal tissue through a consumable applicator. Morpheus8V is a fractional RF microneedling handpiece, described by Dermatology Times as reaching up to 3 mm. VTone is an intravaginal EMS applicator that the FDA cleared under K200293 on May 5, 2020 for electrical stimulation and neuromuscular re-education of weak pelvic floor muscles in women with stress, urge or mixed urinary incontinence. Aviva is a procedure, not a handpiece of its own: InMode performs it with the AccuTite handpiece. InMode's current product page also shows Morpheus8, Morpheus8 Body and the hands-free Tone applicators on EmpowerRF.
Practices sometimes mix up EmpowerRF with Votiva, InMode's older women's health platform from 2017. Votiva shipped with FormaV and the FractoraV handpiece, and InMode does not list VTone or Tone for it. If your system has a VTone applicator or Tone pads, it is an EmpowerRF. Because the handpieces are interchangeable across InMode consoles, the platform name on the serial label is the surest guide.
A buyer will start with the handpiece list, since that drives most of the value. Several parts on this system are consumable: the VTone applicator is single use according to its 510(k), FormaV runs through a consumable applicator, and Morpheus8 tips are sterile single use items. List any unopened consumables separately with their expiry dates. Expect questions about the software version, the service history and cable condition, and include photos of the serial label, the main screen and each handpiece.

Resale value depends on remaining consumables and the buyer's access to replacements. Include the number of cycles, cards, or tips remaining.
