InMode Envision
Sell your used InMode Envision.
Envision is an InMode platform aimed at ophthalmologists and eye-area treatment. InMode's annual report for 2023 says the company launched two products that year, Define and Envision, and its product table lists Envision under IPL and bipolar radiofrequency for dry eye. The year before, InMode's 2022 annual report described a platform for ophthalmologists still in development, with a new handpiece for dry eye and periorbital wrinkles in clinical trials and a planned market launch in 2023.
InMode names three handpieces on Envision. Forma I is a non-invasive bipolar RF handpiece for the upper and lower lids, intended to help with dry eye. Lumecca I is a version of InMode's Lumecca IPL handpiece adapted for dry eye. The platform also carries Morpheus8, InMode's fractional RF microneedling handpiece, here used around the eyes for periorbital wrinkles. The original Lumecca is a xenon flash lamp IPL handpiece InMode introduced in 2015 for vascular and pigmented lesions, and FDA's 2022 clearance K221571 for the InMode Multi System lists Lumecca 515 and Lumecca 580 filters covering 515 to 1200 nm and 580 to 1200 nm.
Envision shares handpiece families with InMode's aesthetic consoles, which is where confusion starts. Optimas, for example, also runs the aesthetic Lumecca handpiece. A system sold as Envision should carry the I versions, Forma I and Lumecca I, and InMode's report lists Envision among the platforms that can run Morpheus8. Read the platform name from the serial label and the model names on each handpiece rather than relying on what the unit was called on the invoice.
A buyer will want the list of handpieces with their labels, the flash count on the Lumecca I if the console reports one, and the number of sealed Morpheus8 tips with expiry dates. Include the software version, service history, and photos of the serial label, the main screen and each handpiece.
