The Legend Pro+ is a radiofrequency platform from Pollogen, a Lumenis company, which Lumenis describes as a three in one system. Its product page names three technologies. TriPollar RF heats tissue through three or more electrodes at 1 MHz. VoluDerm delivers RF through ultra-thin electrodes for skin resurfacing. TriFractional pairs RF electrode ablation with controlled volumetric heating.
The page also lists treatment protocols built from these parts. Legend M2 combines TriPollar heating with VoluDerm. The Legend Pyramid Face Lift uses all three technologies in one session. SmoothGlo pairs VoluDerm with IPL from a separate Stellar M22 or M22, so an IPL unit is not part of a Legend Pro+. On the regulatory side, the platform belongs to Pollogen's Legend family. The FDA cleared the Pollogen Legend+ under K171359 in 2017, covering a VoluDerm VO applicator for ablation and resurfacing and TriPollar Applicators 1 to 3 for mild to moderate facial wrinkles. A 2018 clearance, K173503, added a gen36L tip.
Telling a Legend Pro+ from a Legend Pro takes care, because Lumenis describes the same three technologies for both. A search of the FDA's GUDID database in October 2026 returned Legend Pro and Pollogen Legend records, but none under the Legend Pro+ name. The label on the console, not the applicators, settles which model you have. Lumenis also sells a Legend Pro DMA, cleared under K200545 for muscle conditioning, and the triLift, both separate products.
When you list a Legend Pro+, photograph the console label with its catalog number and the software screen. Count the TriPollar applicators, say whether the VoluDerm handpiece is included, and list any sealed VoluDerm or TriFractional tips with their expiration dates, since tips are consumables. Mention the foot switch and the patient controlled manual switch, and include service records so a dealer can confirm the configuration without a site visit.
