Alma Harmony XL Pro
Sell your used Alma Harmony XL Pro.
The Alma Harmony XL Pro is a multi-application platform: one console that accepts a rotating set of laser modules and filtered light applicators. Alma introduced it in March 2015 at the American Academy of Dermatology meeting in San Francisco as the next step in its Harmony XL line. Its light applicators use Alma's AFT filtered light, each tuned to its own band, while each laser module carries one wavelength.
Alma's Harmony XL Pro literature describes ClearLift, a fractional Q-switched 1064 nm Nd:YAG; the iPixel Er:YAG at 2940 nm for fractional ablative resurfacing; ClearSkin, a non-ablative 1540 nm Er:Glass applicator with contact cooling; a cooled long-pulse 1064 nm Nd:YAG for vessels; an NIR module; and SHR hair removal applicators. Cooled AFT applicators include VL/PL (540 to 950 nm), SR (570 to 950 nm), Dye-VL (500 to 600 nm), Dye-SR (550 to 650 nm) and SHR Pro (700 to 950 nm). Non-cooled options include UVB at 270 to 380 nm, an acne applicator at 420 to 950 nm and SR 570. The FDA cleared the Dye VL handpiece for the Harmony XL platform under K181298 in June 2018.
The 2015 launch named ClearLift 4D, with variable depth control, and ClearSkin with vacuum as the new modules. A later Special Edition added ClearSkin Pro, rated up to 3,000 mJ per pulse against 1,500 mJ for the earlier ClearSkin, and a cooled Dye-VL Pro with a 1 cm2 spot. In 2025 Alma announced a successor called simply Alma Harmony, so a console labeled Harmony XL Pro predates that system.
Two XL Pro units can share a console and little else, so a buyer will want a written inventory of every module and applicator. Note whether you have ClearSkin or ClearSkin Pro and Dye-VL or Dye-VL Pro. Add the usage counts the screen reports, the software version, the service history and photos of the serial label, each applicator's tip and any cracked housings or worn cables.
