Alma Accent Prime

Alma's Accent Prime is a non-invasive console that combines radiofrequency and ultrasound for body contouring and skin tightening. Alma launched it in March 2016 at AMWC in Monaco. The ultrasound side uses the UltraSpeed applicator, which has a plate-type sonotrode that sends guided ultrasonic waves through concentric profiles to heat tissue. The RF side uses Alma's Unipolar RF, a single electrode design with no grounding pad.

FDA device listings for the Accent Prime UltraSpeed and Ultra applicators point to 510(k) K160075, cleared August 17, 2016 under the Accent XL name. That record describes three previously cleared RF handpieces running at 40.68 MHz plus a new 1 MHz therapeutic ultrasound handpiece with a 1.2 cm² transducer. The same record lists Pixel RF tips, in stationary and roller form. Cleared uses include wrinkles with the unipolar and bipolar handpieces, temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite with the massage handpiece, skin ablation and resurfacing with the Pixel RF tips, and relief of pain and muscle spasm with the ultrasound module.

The applicators are the clearest way to identify a Prime. Launch coverage listed three stationary vacuum applicators named Tune Large, Tune Face and Tune Periorbital alongside UltraSpeed. Alma's product material describes a Microplasma applicator that sends 40.68 MHz energy through high-voltage pins, and a Phase Shifter control with Deep, Medium and Superficial settings. The FDA record treats ultrasound as the addition to an existing RF console, so an ultrasound applicator is a key marker.

When you list the unit, name every applicator and tip and say which ones still connect and run. Count the Pixel RF tips. A buyer will also want to see the touchscreen powered on with the software version showing, the service history, any treatment counts the system records, and a clear photo of the serial label on the console.
