Venus Concept Venus NOVA

Venus Nova is a body and face workstation from Venus Concept that combines bipolar radiofrequency, pulsed electromagnetic fields, vacuum massage and electrical muscle stimulation. It has no laser. The FDA cleared it on November 6, 2025 under K252845, with the Venus BlissMAX as the primary predicate and the Venus Legacy Pro as the secondary predicate. The clearance summary notes WiFi cloud connectivity in place of the cellular link used on the predicate.

Nova uses three groups of applicators. The 4D Body applicator combines radiofrequency, magnetic pulses and vacuum, with four suction levels, and is cleared for relief of minor muscle aches and spasm, temporary improvement of local circulation and temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite. The OctiPolar and DiamondPolar applicators combine radiofrequency and magnetic pulses and are cleared for moderate to severe facial wrinkles in women with Fitzpatrick skin types I to IV. Four hands free FlexMAX applicators provide muscle stimulation for muscle conditioning, with the option to treat two areas at once. Venus Concept rates the 4D Body and OctiPolar applicators at up to 150 W and the DiamondPolar at up to 75 W, all at 1 MHz.

Nova shares parts with two older Venus systems. Like the Bliss MAX it has (MP)2 radiofrequency and FlexMAX muscle stimulation, but it has no 1064 nm diode laser applicators for lipolysis. Its facial applicators come from the Legacy Pro line. If your console has laser applicators, it is a Bliss MAX or a Bliss, not a Nova.

A Nova on the resale market will be close to new, so buyers will focus on completeness and paperwork. List which applicators are present, naming both facial applicators if you have them, and include the belts used with FlexMAX. Ask Venus Concept whether any service contract is still active and whether it transfers, and how the cloud account will be handed over. Photos of the serial label, the main screen and each applicator connector help a dealer confirm the configuration.
