Exilis Ultra 360 is a member of BTL's Exilis radiofrequency line, which dates to FDA's clearance of the Exilis Model 5000 in November 2009. The FDA GUDID lists the BTL Exilis Ultra from January 2017 and the Exilis Ultra 360 from August 2017, both under product code GEI, the category for electrosurgical cutting and coagulation devices. Exilis systems use monopolar radiofrequency, and a 2024 BTL-sponsored study described the Exilis system as combining radiofrequency with non-targeted ultrasound.

Applicators under the Exilis brand in the GUDID include a large applicator (model 215/1) and a small applicator (model 215/2). BTL also listed XP and XP 2 applicators with 215 model numbers. A 2022 paper notes that the Exilis Ultra 360 has a monopolar intravaginal applicator that was studied in an animal model, and a registered clinical trial is studying a BTL Exilis combining radiofrequency and ultrasound for pain during intercourse. BTL's Exilis XP II clearance from January 2017 added exchangeable, single-use applicator tips to the line and describes a contact quality monitor under the patch electrode and a display on the handpiece.

BTL has sold several Exilis consoles. The GUDID carries separate records for the Exilis Protégé, the Exilis Ultra and the Exilis Ultra 360, so the model name on the serial label settles which one you own. BTL's newer Exion platform is a different system whose applicators carry 785 model numbers and use targeted ultrasound.

For a sale, list each applicator by its model number and say whether the intravaginal applicator is included. Count any sealed single-use tips. Include the patch electrode and its cable. Photograph the console serial label, each applicator label and the handpiece display, and add the software version and service history.
