Rohrer Aesthetics PiX:E

PiX:E is a Rohrer Aesthetics system that puts 4 MHz radiofrequency microneedling and a 2940 nm Er:YAG laser on one platform, so a single visit can combine needle-delivered RF with erbium resurfacing. Rohrer's newsroom lists the press release unveiling PiX:E on March 5, 2024, and trade coverage from July 2025 describes it as combining 4 MHz RF microneedling with fractional and full-field Er:YAG resurfacing.

On the RF side, Rohrer describes a handpiece with a dial that sets needle depth from 0.1 mm to 4.0 mm, three tip configurations, and both insulated and non-insulated needles. The erbium side has two delivery options: a fractional lens with a 10 mm spot, and an adjustable telescopic lens for fully ablative work from 1.5 mm to 6.0 mm.

Rohrer holds a February 2, 2024 clearance, K233143, for a system named PiXel8-Reveal. Its 510(k) summary describes a single console with two handpieces: a bipolar RF microneedling handpiece at 4 MHz using disposable 25, 49 and 64 pin tips, and an Er:YAG handpiece at 2940 nm with 2.4 W maximum power, up to 10 J/cm2, a 300 microsecond pulse and spot sizes of 1.5, 3, 6 and 9 mm. Rohrer's PiX:E page does not cite a clearance number, so if your label reads PiXel8-Reveal rather than PiX:E, say so in the listing. The PiXel8-RF is a different machine: it has the same 4 MHz microneedling but no erbium laser.

A buyer will want both handpieces, the lenses for the erbium side and the depth-adjustable RF handpiece, plus the footswitch and cart if supplied. Microneedle tips are disposable, so list how many sealed tips of each size come with the system and whether you still buy them from Rohrer. Photos of the model label, the startup screen and the erbium optics, along with service records and the date of purchase, help a dealer price the system.
