CoolSculpting DiamondGlow

DiamondGlow is a powered dermabrasion system sold in the United States under Allergan Aesthetics' SkinMedica line. It began as Dermalinfusion, a treatment from Envy Medical, Inc., which marketed its devices under the SilkPeel name. Allergan completed its purchase of Envy Medical on March 26, 2019, and introduced the renamed DiamondGlow in physicians' offices in January 2020. FDA's GUDID database lists the console as SP3 DiamondGlow, model A0142_DG, a 110 volt prescription device from Zeltiq Aesthetics, Inc. under product code GFE, powered dermabrasion brush, which is exempt from premarket submission.

A handheld wand with a diamond tip exfoliates the skin while vacuum suction pulls away debris, and a serum is applied through the same pass. SkinMedica Pro-Infusion Serums are the serums paired with the treatment. The system comes with six interchangeable diamond tips that range from fine to coarse, and trade coverage describes its use on the face, the eye area, the lips and the body.

Because the exfoliate, extract and infuse approach carried through the rebrand, owners are often unsure whether they have a DiamondGlow or an older Dermalinfusion unit. The model number on the console label settles it. GUDID lists DiamondGlow as model A0142_DG, while a separate record from the same labeler covers the SilkPeel Pro, model A0029_ME. A unit with SilkPeel branding or an Envy Medical label predates the DiamondGlow name.

A buyer making an offer on a DiamondGlow will look first at the wand and the tips. List how many of the six tips are present, and note any chipped or worn diamond surfaces and any cracks in the wand or its tubing. Confirm that the vacuum pump holds suction and that the serum delivery line runs clean. State the year of manufacture, the service history and any serum stock included. Clear photos of the console's model and serial label, the wand and each tip help a dealer confirm the configuration.
