Lynton DYNAMIX

DYNAMIX is a modular aesthetic platform from Lynton, the Cheshire, England manufacturer that grew out of University of Manchester physics labs. Lynton announced it in April 2024, as the company entered its thirtieth year. A single console runs intense pulsed light, Nd:YAG lasers, an Er:YAG laser and radiofrequency through interchangeable handpieces, and Lynton's page describes the full system as having seven handpieces and over 30 treatment options. Treatment planning runs through a touchscreen interface Lynton calls Interface Pro, with guided presets.

Lynton names the modules by treatment. ReBright is a 585 nm IPL used for pigmentation, redness, blemish-prone skin and sun damage, and is the light behind Lynton's illumifacial treatment. ReMove handles hair reduction with either IPL or a long-pulsed 1064 nm Nd:YAG, and is also used for vascular lesions. ReModel is the radiofrequency module for skin lifting. ReMove Q is a Q-switched Nd:YAG at 532 nm and 1064 nm for multicolored tattoos and dermal pigmentation, and ResurFACE is a fractional 2940 nm Er:YAG for acne scarring, stretch marks and texture. Lynton states that pulses can be delivered in under one millisecond.

The obvious mix-up is with Lynton's LUMINA, an earlier laser and IPL platform that also offers IPL, long-pulsed and Q-switched Nd:YAG and ResurFACE add-ons. The radiofrequency ReModel module and the Interface Pro software are what DYNAMIX adds, and the console name on the label settles which one you have. Because DYNAMIX is modular, two units can differ a great deal: one may carry a single IPL handpiece while another has all seven.

A buyer will price the system on the modules actually present, so list every handpiece by its Lynton name, with any IPL filters or Er:YAG tips. Photos of the console label, each handpiece and the Interface Pro screen at startup help, along with shot counts where the software reports them. Note the purchase date, any remaining warranty and whether Lynton has serviced the unit.
