HydraFacial Tower
Sell your used HydraFacial Tower.
The HydraFacial delivery system is the console behind the HydraFacial treatment, built by Edge Systems LLC, which does business as The HydraFacial Company and is now part of the public company formerly called The Beauty Health Company. Company filings say Edge was founded in 1997, developed a patented microdermabrasion system in 2001 and launched its hydradermabrasion delivery system in 2005. The tower format machine combines suction with the delivery of liquid solutions through a handpiece, using what the company calls Vortex-Fusion tips to cleanse, exfoliate, extract and infuse serums in one pass.
The system is built around a razor and blade model. The console and handpiece are the durable part, while every treatment draws on single use tips, patterned caps that fit the handpiece to create suction and deliver solution, with at least three used per treatment, plus proprietary solution bottles. The 2021 annual report says HydraFacial alone sells these consumables. A tower without access to genuine tips and solutions cannot run a standard treatment, so buyers price a used unit with the ongoing supply in mind.
Identifying the generation matters. The Elite Tower was first launched in 2016 and was the company's flagship until Syndeo, which launched in the United States in March 2022 with updated hardware and software, Wi-Fi connectivity and RFID. The 2022 annual report says the Elite Tower was still sold in EMEA and APAC until Syndeo reached those regions. The model name on the system label settles which generation you have. HydraFacial ran a trade-in program in 2022 that took older systems toward Syndeo, so refurbished towers also circulate.
Before an offer, buyers will ask for the serial number, the model on the label, the condition of the handpiece and hoses, and whether suction and solution delivery both work. Records of factory service or refurbishment help, along with photos of the screen at startup.
