HydraFacial MD Elite
Sell your used HydraFacial MD Elite.
The HydraFacial MD Elite is a freestanding tower console for HydraFacial treatments, built by Edge Systems LLC, the company now known as Hydrafacial LLC. Its user guide states that the system is intended to abrade, or exfoliate, the upper layers of the skin, and FDA GUDID lists it under product code GFE, powered dermabrasion brush. The cabinet stands 122 cm tall, weighs 39 kg and rolls on wheels with front brakes. US units are part number 70143-03-01 at 100 to 120 volts; the 220 to 240 volt version is 70290-03-01.
Treatment runs through a cartridge handpiece connected by a clear supply line and a blue return line, with a single use HydroPeel tip on the end. Solution bottles sit in a manifold behind a removable acrylic door, and a toggle switch for each bottle determines which one feeds the handpiece. A gray switch marked SYSTEM RINSE handles the Rinseaway cleaning bottle. Waste collects in a rear canister with a float that shuts off suction if it overfills. Some regional packages also include a lymphatic kit and a cordless LED light, and software updates load from a Hydrafacial USB drive.
Those controls separate an Elite from the newer Syndeo, which is shorter and lighter, selects bottles on its touchscreen and updates over Wi-Fi. The Allegro is a different model again, with its own user guide and a 3 amp electrical rating where the Elite is rated at 8 amps. A non-medical Elite also exists, so read the part number on the label.
One point catches many sellers: the factory warranty runs one year from installation, and the policy says the company owes no further duty to a third party after an unpermitted transfer, so a buyer should not assume coverage. Expect questions about handpiece and tubing wear, whether every solution station draws properly and the waste canister float. Photos of the serial label, the open manifold and the home screen help a dealer make an offer.
