EndyMed Intensif
Sell your used EndyMed Intensif.
Intensif is EndyMed's RF microneedling handpiece. It is not a standalone machine: it connects to the EndyMed PRO console, and a Max version runs on the newer EndyMed PRO MAX. FDA cleared the Intensif applicator in March 2014 under K130501 for dermatologic procedures involving electrocoagulation and hemostasis. The 510(k) summary describes a grid of microneedle electrodes on a disposable tip that delivers bipolar RF at 1 MHz to heat tissue.
The 2025 summary for the PRO MAX (K242996) gives the Intensif specifications side by side with the Intensif Max and lists them as the same: 25 non-insulated needles of 300 micron diameter, a maximum treatment depth of 3.5 mm, up to 25 W, up to 62 mJ per pin, pulse durations of 20 to 170 ms and a 50 percent duty cycle. EndyMed's current product page describes gold plated tapered needles, a Smooth Motion insertion and a fractionated pulse mode, and gives an adjustable depth in 0.1 mm steps up to 5.0 mm, so check the specification sheet that came with your handpiece.
Because the handpiece needs tips to operate, tips are central to any sale. FDA's GUDID lists EndyMed Intensif tips sold in 10 packs, and the original clearance identifies the treatment element and its RF electrodes as disposable. A seller should count unopened tip packs and check their expiration dates. Sellers often do not know which console their Intensif belongs to: the PRO handpiece and the Intensif Max for the PRO MAX are listed separately in GUDID, and the labels on the handpiece and console should match.
Buyers will ask whether the handpiece is sold alone or with a working PRO or PRO MAX console, and will look at the cable, connector and tip mount for damage. A test showing the handpiece recognized by the console and firing helps. Photos of the handpiece label, any tip packaging and the console screen with the Intensif connected let a dealer confirm the configuration.
