Eufoton LASEmaR 1500

The LASEmaR 1500 is a fiber delivered surgical diode laser from Eufoton s.r.l. of Trieste, Italy. Its console drives a gallium arsenide diode emitting at 1470 nm with a maximum output of 15 W, plus a low power red aiming beam to mark the treatment site. FDA first cleared the Lasemar 1500 in July 2010 under K092860, a single submission that also covered the Lasemar 800 and 1000. Eufoton filed a new 510(k) for the current LASEmaR 1500, K260489, cleared on May 29, 2026 with the 2010 device as its predicate. That summary lists indications for vaporization, incision, excision, ablation, cutting and coagulation of soft tissue in plastic and aesthetic medicine, ENT, gynecology and neurosurgery, along with laser assisted lipolysis.

The unit weighs about 8.5 kg, measures and 30.5 by 35 by 15.5 cm and comes in four colors. It runs in single pulse, pulsed and continuous modes, with pulse durations from 1 to 9000 ms, a 7 inch touch screen, footswitch activation, preset treatment programs and cooling by fans with Peltier cells. Endolift, EndoliftX, LightScan and Ladylift are Eufoton treatment protocols run on this console, not separate machines. Accessories include the Surgical Contact handpiece, Ladylift handpiece, Laserlipolysis handpiece, Multi-Therapy and Multi-Therapy Flat handpieces, the LightSCAN scanner, ring optical fibers and a Smart Trolley.

Eufoton builds several 1470 nm and dual wavelength consoles, including the LASEmaR 500, 800, 1000 and 2000, the MINI 450 and MINI 800, and the MINI DUAL, which pairs 980 nm with 1470 nm. The rear label confirms which one you have.

According to the 2026 FDA summary, the LASEmaR 1500 works only with compatible Eufoton fibers carrying RFID tags that tell the console which accessory is attached and its use parameters. Buyers therefore want to know which fibers and handpieces come with the unit and whether fresh fibers are still available, along with the footswitch, the touch screen condition, any stored error codes and the service record.
